Head of Controlling Role

Head of Controlling Role - Constructions (București, România)

Key responsibilities:

• Leading and supervising the controlling team
• Designing and running monthly Group reporting and planning processes (budget and forecasts)
• Preparation of short-term and long-term plans and monitoring their realization
• Preparation of regular and ad-hoc internal and external reports, identification of key trends
• Presentation and interpretation of the reports with the aim of improving the decision-making process
• Preparing financial statements both for Group purposes (IFRS based) and local in accordance with local GAAP.
• Coordinating the audit process
• Recognizing possibilities for controlling process improvement and suggesting solutions
• Managing, evaluating, educating and developing employees within the controlling department

Requirements:

• University degree (master preferred), financial background
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in similar positions is mandatory
• Experience in team management is mandatory
• Excellent understanding of IFRS, local accounting practices and tax regulations
• Advanced use of MS office Excel
• Experience working in different ERPs and understanding the logic
• Highly organized and efficient, proactive approach to work
• Excellent analytical skills and learning abilities
• Good people management skills: good leader ‒ able to balance the operational work and leading and developing the team
• Financial audit background is preferred
• Fluent English in speaking/writing
